LET US CREATE A TIMELESS DOCUMENT

Oral History matters because often it is the only link to one’s personal history. Our legacy videos record these precious piece of  someone’s family history. Below are a few samples of the work we have created for our clients.
Through our work, we hope to link current and future generations to their roots using the legacy videos we record of their family’s history.

Alfred "Buddy" Thomas

THE STORY OF A “MUSTANG”

“Wonderful Experience! Like visiting friends and family” Alfred “Buddy” Thomas“
Such a special keepsake for all generations of our family”      Marcia Thomas

When we first met Alfred “Buddy” Thomas to record his Legacy Video, we were so surprised at the numerous experiences he had gone through. Working for the A&P corporation as a teenager, he helped them design and open new stores as the company grew. He then went into the Navy and slowly climbed the ranks, became a “Mustang” (a commissioned officer who began his or her career as an enlisted service member) before retiring from the Navy and taking on a new job for AIG.

He finally told us the amazing story that haunted us as we edited the final video. In Reykjavik, Iceland, during World War 2, while in the Navy, he was thrown overboard in rough seas. A woman he knew back in Boston came to his mind, then and there he told himself that if he survived, he would seek her out. He did and they spent their lives together. A story of love and destiny that touched us deeply.

ALICE COLETTI

A BEAUTIFUL LADY ON A BEAUTIFUL FARM

“Thank you for this gift to our family and to all of those yet to be born who will have the privilege of knowing “Grammy”.

            Don Coletti

What an incredible experience it was for us to meet Mrs. Coletti and hear her story. From her beautiful home on a farm, upstate New York, she told of her growing up in Barre, VT, from a family of Swedish immigrants who left everything behind in search of a better life, never to return. Stone was their name and the craft they used to grow a successful business in the area. She told us of her travels with her husband, a renowned surgeon, until they settled on a farm to raise their beautiful family.

JACK WYLE

FROM WARSAW TO NEW YORK IN THE 20’S

“Just finished watching the video – we laughed, we cried , and wish we had one of Elk and Patti’s mother and grandmother. We are so happy to have it !!  Thank you very much !! ”      Steve & Patti Wyle

Having left Warsaw, Poland at the age of three, Jack Wyle, tells of his amazing story growing in New York City in the 1920’s. His father a Rabbi and Marriage Performer, the family moved to Harlem, and then the Bronx, where he became a die hard Yankee fan. Jack Wyle shares his rich life and the amazing stories of his immigrant families. He traveled all over the United States before settling in Saratoga Springs where he enjoys going to the famous race track where during his retirement he began to work until he turned 93.
